The Fleming Construction Group is pleased to announce that our PEMB erection division, Fleming Steel Erectors (FSE) has attained AC478 Accreditation – a standard administered by the International Accreditation Service (IAS) and promoted by the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) that recognize metal building assemblers who maintain a demonstrated commitment to excellence. FSE is the first metal building assembler based in Oklahoma to obtain the prestigious AC478 accreditation, and one of fewer than 25 companies nationwide.
The MBCEA recognizes AC478 as “the most comprehensive quality assurance accreditation of its kind for metal building assembly.” Achieving this accreditation confirms that Fleming has the personnel, organizational skills, experience, knowledge, management procedures, and commitment to assembling metal buildings in accordance with code, specifications, costs and deadlines. Requirements for this accreditation include documented management systems, rigorous safety training, quality managers, OSHA training, documented safety plans, site-specific plans, and other documentation. AC478 accredited companies are also subjected to annual internal audits and management reviews.
